I was already on route so thought I’d try my luck and get a table for 3 anyway, upon arrival I asked if I could sit in the bar area or outside to eat, I was told absolutely no problem whatsoever and boy am I glad, I ordered the trio Sunday dinner and no exaggeration it was the best meal I’ve ever had. I wasn’t that fussed about the pork but it turned out to be the best part, my kids had the beef dinner and the cheeseburger and they were also amazing, the staff were all really busy and the service was 5 star, I will definitely be back and would highly recommend anyone to try them out ….. thank you for having us

We visited for a 40th birthday dinner, and the food was absolutely fantastic, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The service on the night was also great, and the waitress did wish a happy birthday when we arrived as it was added to the booking notes online that this was a 40th birthday celebration meal.

However, despite explicitly adding the milestone celebration to the booking notes in advance, that verbal greeting was the extent of it. I was quite disappointed that no extra touches or gestures were made for such a big occasion. It’s a lovely venue, but a bit more attention to detail for special events would have made the night perfect.

The salad was delicious it was coated in a dressing which was made by chef.  The ciabatta was light and crispy on the outside the butter was also very nice.  The lasagne was a little greasy but enjoyable. My only concern was when my food was brought out the waitress came back as id started on the meal and said she thought the lasagne was meat and not the Mediterranean one.  I hadn't started to eat any but had already started on the ciabatta.  Waitress took away the food and returned shortly with my original dish which had been checked and was the correct lasagne. As a vegetarian of 45 years I would not have been happy if I'd started on the lasagne and it had been meat.
